The Flood-Control Reservoir Bukówka

After the huge flood, which happened in July 1897 in the river basin of the Bóbr River, there was a protection plan created. It was concerned with the basin of the Bóbr River, which is both the largest and the longest left bank tributary of the Odra River. Within the program, there was the creation of reservoirs lakes and dry reservoirs. The first aforementioned reservoir was built only few kilometers away from the springs of the Bóbr River, which are located behind the Czech border next to the Bobr town at 804 meters above sea level...
