The Kamenický Šenov Railway Station, Nádražní 575, Kamenický Šenov

The official opening of the station on the 10th February, 1886, saw the launching of a new 4.5km local line from České Kamenice to Kamenický Šenov. The line was commissioned by Czech Northern Railways with Kamenický Šenov and glass industry representatives. The project was designed by the Prague-based firm of Köhler and Raynal and construction was undertaken by G. Chierici. The station had an impressive main building, two main lines, one siding with access ramp and timber-built store, small roundhouse for one locomotive and water tank...

The Museum of Armoured Technology, Smržovka

This museum, for those interested in battle technology, is found on the grounds of the former Landwirtschaftliche Produktionsgenossenschaft (Agricultural Production Community) in Smržovka. Apart from the permanent exhibition here, there are driving demonstrations and reconstructions of battle operations. The exhibition was created in the indoor halls of the former production community complex to focus on armoured caterpillar vehicles and anti-aircraft artillery...

The Museum of Technology and Historical Vehicles, Loukov near Semily

This original, private museum of technology, run by Pavel Bujárek, was created in the building of a former tractor yard on the banks of the River Jizera near Semily in the Loukov district of the small town of Háje nad Jizerou.
