Centrum Babylon is an entirely unique centre of family entertainment and social life in the Jeřáb district of Liberec. It was created in 1997 with the reconstruction, designed by Jiří Palas, of the unused and unattended weaving factory of Neumann & Bürren from Wupperthal – Barmen. The first weaving mill here was built in line with the plans of builder Bürger in 1885 as a single-storied building with basement on a ground plan of 16 x 12 fields with a roof supported by cast iron pillars, to which a boiler house, engine room and administrative building were attached...
